Our History
The Chief Isaac Group of Companies (CIGC) was established in 1984 to own and operate the business interests of the Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in First Nation. CIGC’s roots have always been in the construction industry, with many services provided to the community and builders through property management, security, custodial, heavy equipment, fuel supply, camp supply, and food service capabilities. Today, Chief Isaac Group of Companies is thrilled to be strengthening our construction services, through the creation of our general contracting company, CIW.

CIW is a 100% Chief Isaac Group of Companies owned construction business. The company has operational support from Wildstone Construction Ltd., one of the Yukon’s largest general contractors, and a builder of complex projects throughout western and northern Canada.
